Aspiring frontend developer looking for a 26-week LIA internship (Sep 2026 - Mar 2027)
Get to know me
Hi! I'm Amanda. I'm a frontend development student with a passion for turning my ideas into real, functional projects. I'm drawn to the sweet spot where design meets code, where a well-thought-out layout or a smooth interaction can make someone's experience genuinely better.
I love the problem-solving side of development as much as I love the creative side. There's something really satisfying about wrestling with a tricky layout or a stubborn bug, and then - finally - cracking it. Before frontend I studied game development at Stockholm University, where I specialized as a 3D artist, which gave me a strong eye for how things look and feel visually. Along the way I also built a solid foundation in object-oriented programming through Java (and some C#), and picked up some SQL as well.
When I'm not coding I'm usually reading, crocheting, drawing or gaming, or hanging out with my two pet rats who demand I spend lots of time with them. I also enjoy going out with friends or trying something new, and I always strive to try and learn new things!

A RESTful backend API built with TypeScript and Express, implementing full CRUD functionality for managing products. A focused exercise in backend architecture and API design.
